Book Rental Information

Warrick County School Corporation (WCSC) is happy to announce we will not be charging book rental or student curricular fees for the 2023-2024 school year. A recent change in law eliminates book rental charges to Indiana families. In an effort to remove confusion about book rental vs. fees and to benefit our families, WCSC has made the decision also to eliminate student curricular fees (such as science lab fees, technology fees, art fees, etc.). In other words, you will not receive a book rental/fees bill this year. 

Please be aware that we will still charge for any damaged materials or replacement costs for textbooks and/or Chromebooks should that situation arise with your child. Additionally, if families have unpaid rental/fees from previous school years, we will continue collecting those balances. 

Most importantly, we hope the elimination of book rental and fees removes a burden from our families and students. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2023-2024 school year.
